Transportation Dispatcher

About the role

We are seeking motivated Transportation Dispatchers to join our Operations – Transportation team in Saudi Arabia. In this role you will coordinate driver and truck assignments, monitor daily dispatch activities and ensure timely, efficient deliveries across Jeddah and Jubail.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and assign drivers and trucks based on delivery timelines, load requirements and route efficiency.
• Monitor dispatch operations, adjust plans for delays, urgent requests or operational changes.
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse, customer service and transportation teams to guarantee smooth delivery execution.
• Track trips using TMS/GPS systems and keep accurate dispatch and delivery records.
• Verify trip sheets, delivery notes, driver logs and related documentation.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption and delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations and safety standards.
• Report and escalate delays, incidents, resource shortages and operational bottlenecks.
• Support shift handovers, vehicle maintenance coordination and driver availability planning.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in dispatch coordination, trucking or transportation operations.
• Strong organizational, communication and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of Saudi transport regulations, driver/vehicle compliance and safety requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or dispatch software.
• Experience using GPS tracking tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
