Turnaround Advisor – Joint Venture Operations

About the role

Chevron Phillips Chemical is seeking a Joint Venture Turnaround Advisor to provide technical and strategic oversight for turnaround activities at its domestic and international joint‑venture sites. The role will initially support the S‑Chem outage in Saudi Arabia and later travel to other locations to ensure safe, reliable and cost‑effective turnarounds.

Key responsibilities

• Advise JV partners on all phases of turnaround planning and execution, removing barriers and developing personnel.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise for turnaround estimating, cost forecasting, development and execution using CPChem standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with the General Manager of Manufacturing Excellence, Controls COE Manager and JV Turnaround Manager to establish policies, procedures and best practices.
• Work with Turnaround Managers and Coordinators to align activities with corporate standards throughout each turnaround event.

Required profile

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
• At least 10 years of plant or manufacturing experience.
• At least 10 years of experience leading or supporting turnarounds.
• Deep expertise in turnaround processes and strong understanding of joint‑venture dynamics.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and drive safe, reliable, cost‑effective execution.
