Vehicle Software Support Engineer

About the role

Lucid is looking for a proactive Software Support Engineer to provide hands‑on technical assistance for internal development units, fleet vehicles, and customer cars. You will work in a fast‑paced engineering environment, collaborating with software, hardware, validation, manufacturing, and quality teams to keep our luxury electric vehicles operating at peak performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site technical support for development, fleet, and customer vehicles.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex system‑level issues.
• Perform root‑cause analysis using logs, telemetry, and diagnostic data.
• Support system integration, validation, and release activities across development and production phases.
• Create and manage issue reports, tracking progress to closure.
• Collaborate with suppliers and engineering partners for timely issue resolution.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation approximately one weekend per month.
• Contribute to technical reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in troubleshooting complex technical systems.
• Proven ability to analyze logs, telemetry, or system data to identify and resolve issues.
• Experience supporting system validation, testing, or production environments.
