Vice President of Sales - KSA

About the role

Cognition, an applied AI lab, is expanding its footprint in the Middle East and seeks a Vice President of Sales to launch and scale operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This senior leader will own the country‑level P&L, build a high‑performing go‑to‑market organization, and drive revenue across enterprise and government segments.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and grow Cognition’s KSA business from the ground up, including hiring, sales execution, and operational performance.
• Lead a cross‑functional team covering sales, customer success, engineering, support, and operations.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with KSA and GCC enterprises and government agencies.
• Own end‑to‑end sales cycles, closing deals directly and through partners.
• Align product‑market fit for the GCC in collaboration with global leadership.
• Represent Cognition in the local business and technology ecosystem.
• Build scalable processes for onboarding, implementation, and customer success.
• Provide product and engineering feedback on localisation and feature needs.

Required profile

• 10+ years of leadership experience in KSA, preferably in fast‑growing software or AI companies.
• Proven track record launching and scaling operations in new markets with disruptive software.
• Deep relationships and understanding of KSA’s enterprise and government sectors.
• Strong enterprise sales, partnership, and GTM experience with complex deal closures.
• Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution ability.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Experience building cross‑functional teams from scratch.
• Passion for technology, innovation, and shaping the future of work.
