Waitress

About the role

The restaurant is looking for a reliable Waitress to support the dining hall operations. You will help prepare the dining area before service, maintain cleanliness throughout the shift, and assist the captain waiter with various tasks to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the dining hall before service, including cleaning and setting up tables.
• Clean all service utensils before each service period.
• Assist the captain waiter with restaurant set‑up and mise en place preparation.
• Transport food from the kitchen to the dining hall and place plates for guests.
• Replace ashtrays, fill water glasses, and attend to guest needs during service.
• Clear tables after meals, transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing area, and maintain a tidy environment.
• Follow instructions from the captain waiter and work under their guidance.

Required profile

• Presentable appearance with a strong focus on personal hygiene.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
• Willingness to follow directions and collaborate with the service team.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of restaurant cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to handle and transport food safely.
