Welding Engineer (ASME, CSWIP, IWE)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Welding Engineer to join our team in Jubail. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with international welding codes and standards for pressure vessels and heat exchangers, supporting our manufacturing and fabrication operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ASME audits and ensure adherence to applicable codes such as ASME, AWS, API, NBIC and TEMA.
• Develop, review, and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
• Perform inspections and provide technical guidance on welding activities for pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Maintain and update certification records, including CSWIP 3.2.2 Senior Welding Inspector and International Welding Engineer (IWE) qualifications.
• Collaborate with fabrication, maintenance and repair teams to resolve welding‑related issues.

Required profile

• Valid CSWIP 3.2.2 Senior Welding Inspector or IWE certification.
• Extensive experience with ASME audit processes and code compliance.
• Proven background in manufacturing, fabrication, maintenance or repair of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, API, NBIC and TEMA standards.
