Women's First Team Player Care Manager

About the role

The Women's First Team Player Care Manager will provide comprehensive operational, logistical and wellbeing support to the club’s women’s first‑team players. This role ensures a smooth transition for both local and international athletes, handling off‑pitch logistics and personal welfare so they can focus on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate relocation, secure furnished accommodation and manage airport arrivals, temporary housing and transport orientation for new players.
• Assist players with setting up bank accounts, mobile contracts, utilities and internet services.
• Work with HR and Government Relations to arrange visas, residency permits (Iqama) and medical screenings.
• Serve as the primary off‑pitch contact for player welfare, delivering cultural orientation, language lessons and personal development opportunities.
• Support families with school enrolment, childcare and community integration.
• Collaborate with the Team Manager on hotel allocations and player welfare during away fixtures.
• Manage ticket requests for players’ families and coordinate player appearances with Marketing while safeguarding welfare.
• Organise workshops on financial literacy, media training and career transition, and handle off‑boarding logistics for departing players.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in an elite sporting environment, preferably in football player care, team operations or player welfare.
• Previous experience within women’s professional sport is desirable.
• Degree in Sports Management, Psychology, Social Work, Hospitality or a related discipline is desirable.
