Workshop Officer – Asset Management & Maintenance

About the role
The Workshop Officer is responsible for the systematic handover, receipt, and control of company assets, tools, and equipment. This role ensures that all items are properly documented, stored, and maintained in line with company procedures, safety standards, and operational requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage issuance and return of assets, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate asset registers and tracking records.
- Conduct periodic inspections to verify condition and availability of assets.
- Perform minor maintenance and basic repairs as required.
- Report damaged, lost, or malfunctioning items.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with relevant departments.
- Monitor inventory levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
- Ensure proper storage and safekeeping of company assets.
- Prepare periodic reports on asset status and utilization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements.
Required profile
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
