Account Lead – Communications

About the role

The Account Lead – Communications integrates strategy, policy and communications to lead projects for government clients across the MENA region. Based in the Gulf (Bahrain or Saudi Arabia), the role provides strategic advice, program design and execution support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead integrated projects by coordinating Consulum experts to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Build influential relationships with clients, earn trust and provide insightful analysis.
• Lead and develop the Consulum team, ensuring clear mission, high‑quality work and skill growth.
• Achieve commercial outcomes by delivering scope, identifying further opportunities and securing additional work.
• Participate in business development, generating leads, proposals and pitches.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years experience in strategy, communications or policy, preferably with government or public‑sector consulting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of how strategy, policy and communications function together in successful governments.
