Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Riyadh. The role supports multiple project sites across Saudi Arabia, handling invoicing, expense reconciliation and VAT compliance for long‑term, milestone‑based contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and track client invoices in Zoho Books, linking them to project milestones and purchase orders.
• Follow up on collections and overdue receivables together with the operations team.
• Review and reconcile field custody and expense claims submitted via Zoho Expense for Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam sites.
• Prepare daily accounting entries, perform bank reconciliations and support periodic financial reporting (cash flow, aging receivables, project status).
• Handle VAT filings, ensure ZATCA compliance and manage e‑invoicing requirements.
• Match vendor invoices and purchase orders against deliveries and payments.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Manage invoicing for multi‑stage projects (down payment, installation, completion).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Saudi national (required).
• 2–4 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in contracting, engineering integration or long‑term project environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Fluent Arabic and working proficiency in English for documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zoho Books (invoicing, purchase orders, reconciliation).
• Experience using Zoho Expense for field expense management.
• Working knowledge of VAT and ZATCA e‑invoicing regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, reporting).
• Bank reconciliation and accounts‑receivable follow‑up.
• Project‑based milestone billing and vendor‑PO matching.
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as Malakit.
