Accounting Manager – E-Commerce

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead Florose’s accounting function for its e‑commerce operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely closes, and compliance with Saudi accounting, tax and zakat regulations. The role combines traditional finance leadership with the specific demands of digital sales channels, payment gateways and inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Accounting Department, allocate workload, and manage performance.
• Oversee the General Ledger, journal entries, bank and account reconciliations, and balance‑sheet schedules.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, fixed assets, accruals, pre‑payments and expense processing.
• Direct monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Maintain and evolve the Chart of Accounts to reflect the company’s e‑commerce model.
• Control the end‑to‑end accounting cycle for online sales, including order, invoice, collection and ERP integration.
• Reconcile transactions from payment gateways (Mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, STC Pay) and monitor fees, commissions, refunds and COD settlements.
• Handle accounting treatment of returns, exchanges, discounts, vouchers and promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an accounting team in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi accounting standards, tax and zakat regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with e‑commerce financial processes and multi‑channel sales.
• Ability to analyse variances, investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.

Required skills

• ERP systems (implementation and integration).
• Payment gateway reconciliation (Mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, STC Pay).
• Advanced accounting software proficiency.
