Accounts Supervisor – Receivable

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Accounts Supervisor – Receivable to manage city ledger activities, prepare invoices, and ensure accurate financial documentation within a hotel environment. The role demands strong attention to detail, compliance with policies, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Transfer daily city ledger data from the Front Office system to the Back Office Accounts Receivable module.
• Verify transferred data against city ledger folios and supporting documents such as charge slips and LPOs.
• Follow up on billing instructions, LPOs, and missing documentation as needed.
• Prepare invoices, obtain required signatures, and dispatch originals to customers while filing copies appropriately.
• Calculate commissions for credit‑card payments and issue receipts for cash, cheques, and direct credit‑card deposits.
• Hand over cash receipts to the General Cashier and provide receipt copies.
• Prepare and deliver employee city ledger summaries to the Paymaster on the 25th of each month.

Required profile

• Degree in Hotel Management or Accounting.
• At least one year of experience in a hotel accounting environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is an asset.
