Adult Oncology Nurse

About the role

The Adult Oncology Unit is a 30‑bed inpatient service caring for adults (13 years, 11 months and older) with hematology, bone‑marrow transplant, oncology malignancies, radiation and palliative needs. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to this specialised patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult oncology and hematology patients throughout their hospital stay.
• Administer chemotherapy, radiation‑related treatments and supportive therapies safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, document clinical observations, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient education and discharge planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor in Nursing Science or a Registered Nurse licence from the country of origin.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an oncology setting.
