API Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an API Test Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our services. The role involves close collaboration with development teams and product managers to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated API tests.
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes.
• Review system specifications and API documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Conduct post‑release testing and validate implementations.
• Develop testing processes for new and existing products.
• Stay current with emerging testing tools and strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as TestNG, JUnit, JMeter, Postman, and SoapUI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bamboo.
• Understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services.
