Apigee Hybrid Administrator

About the role

Masterworks is looking for an experienced Apigee Hybrid Administrator to join its Riyadh team. The role focuses on managing a production‑grade API management platform deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with Anthos or Kubernetes infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, administer and maintain the Apigee Hybrid platform in a GCP Anthos or equivalent Kubernetes environment.
• Ensure system stability, high availability and secure configuration of hybrid runtime components.
• Monitor API traffic, usage and performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Define and implement API security measures such as OAuth 2.0, API keys, threat protection and traffic management.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud and Development teams to deploy, scale and optimise API runtimes.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to API gateway, routing and backend integration.
• Maintain documentation for deployment architecture, operational procedures and APIs.
• Evaluate new features, updates and best practices for Apigee Hybrid and Kubernetes environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience administering Apigee Hybrid in production.
• Strong experience with GCP, Anthos and Kubernetes (or equivalent K8s setups).
• Deep understanding of API management, gateway patterns and lifecycle management.
• Proven expertise in API security protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and API‑key management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for API deployment.
