Arabic Language Teacher

About the role

Sraco is seeking a qualified Arabic Language Teacher to deliver instruction to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels. The role involves both individual and group teaching, covering modern standard, colloquial, and classical Arabic as required by the program.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lesson plans, teaching outlines, and assignments for Arabic language courses.
• Assess oral presentations, evaluate written assignments, and administer assessment instruments to track student progress.
• Prepare and communicate progress reports to parents and discuss student behavior and academic performance.
• Maintain classroom records, enforce discipline, and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and adhere to SAES policies.
• Collaborate with the Teaching & Learning Team for curriculum design and instructional support.

Required profile

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking modern standard Arabic and English.
• Strong command of Arabic grammar and literature.
• Ability to lead a teaching team or work independently in an individualized teaching structure.
• Minimum of 36 months of teaching experience.
