Architecture Faculty Lecturer

About the role

Dar Al Hekma University is seeking a qualified Architecture Faculty member to join its Architecture department in Jeddah. The position is full‑time and involves teaching undergraduate courses, advising students, and contributing to the academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lecture‑based and studio‑based undergraduate courses in accordance with the curriculum.
• Provide academic advising to assigned students on policies and progress.
• Participate in departmental activities, school committees, and university governance.
• Collaborate with the Department Chair and fellow faculty on curriculum planning and development.
• Conduct scholarly research and contribute to the university’s research output.

Required profile

• PhD in Architecture.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in architecture at the university level.
• Demonstrated record of academic research.
• Ability to lead advanced design studios and core architectural courses.
• Willingness to engage in administrative duties and collaborative initiatives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital design tools (e.g., CAD, BIM) is an asset.
• Strong academic writing and research capabilities.
