Area Manager – Fulfillment Center Operations

About the role

As an Area Manager at Amazon you will lead a large, diverse team within a fulfillment centre, ensuring that operations keep pace with customer demand. The role combines hands‑on leadership, data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement to maintain safety, quality and productivity across all shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.
• Analyse and implement corrective actions to keep quality and productivity consistently high and meet business objectives across all shifts.
• Support and lead a team while handling administrative tasks and building a strong team culture.
• Analyse performance data and suggest process improvements to optimise work and enhance customer service.
• Collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes.

Required profile

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and holidays.
• 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques (preferred).
