Assistant Manager – Audit & Assurance (Financial Services) – Riyadh

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead audit engagements for financial services clients in Riyadh. You will work closely with senior managers and specialists to deliver high‑quality audit opinions while applying innovative AI‑enabled tools.

Key responsibilities

• Understand client‑specific statistics, prior year financial statements and audit reports before engagement starts.
• Coordinate with management, experts and specialists to define deliverables, timelines and audit priorities.
• Apply professional skepticism, sign off work, and ensure all checklists, procedures and tailoring questions are completed.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, anticipate contingency scenarios and track findings across the audit team.
• Leverage firm‑approved AI tools, including prompt engineering, to improve audit efficiency while validating outputs for accuracy and confidentiality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of auditing experience in a leading professional services firm or large multinational, preferably with an insurance background.
• Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA, SOCPA or equivalent certification.
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing); Arabic is a plus.
• Proven record of engagement management and ability to guide junior staff.
