Assistant Manager – Tax & Finance Managed Services

About the role

EY is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Tax Finance Managed Services team in Saudi Arabia. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing tax compliance, accounting, and financial advisory services while leveraging digital tools and best‑practice processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with financial digital processes, including year‑end closings, audit support, and preparation of financial statements.
• Handle tax compliance tasks such as corporate tax returns and VAT filings.
• Perform general accounting duties, credit control, and internal optimisation projects.
• Prepare management reports, budgeting, analytical bookkeeping, and conduct financial health and competitor analyses.
• Manage day‑to‑day client engagement activities, monitor progress, ensure deliverables, and implement standardised processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve or escalate issues, and drive performance‑improvement solutions.
• Ensure adherence to EY Tax Quality guidelines across all engagements.

Required profile

• Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail.
• Proven management experience and ability to work across borders with large data sets.
• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, taxation or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT or an equivalent.
