Assistant Store Manager

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and operational efficiency. This role takes full ownership of the store in the manager’s absence and ensures that all staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to meet performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of customer service by coaching retail staff and ensuring product knowledge is up‑to‑date.
• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, visual merchandising, and adherence to brand standards.
• Manage staff scheduling, leave requests, and grievance handling.
• Promote the company’s loyalty program to increase repeat business.
• Conduct regular audits of store administration and resolve any discrepancies.
• Ensure security protocols are followed at all times.
• Take full responsibility for store performance when the Store Manager is absent.

Required profile

• Well‑groomed and fashion‑forward with a strong awareness of current trends.
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and handle heavy lifting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback to management.
