Associate Customer Service Specialist

About the role

Medtronic is seeking an Associate Customer Service Specialist to manage customer orders across the Saudi Arabia business units and support the International Customer Care & Supply Chain group. The role involves close collaboration with sales, finance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process and follow up on customer orders, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Monitor financial/payment situations and collaborate with Finance and Business Unit Managers to fulfill contractual terms.
• Maintain accurate Customer and Material Master Files and develop day‑to‑day relationships with distributors and service providers.
• Manage web‑based ordering, credit approvals, returns, quality complaints, and price differentials.
• Oversee inventories at customer facilities using EDI, forecasting, and replenishment systems.
• Handle customer complaints, warranty issues, and return processes, including distribution hold notifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in order management or customer service within a multinational environment.
• Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Required skills

• SAP
• MS Office – Excel
• Knowledge of Incoterms and customs clearance procedures
• Experience with EDI (electronic data interchange) systems
