Associate Data Scientist – AI/ML & Generative AI (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Data Scientist to lead the design, development and deployment of AI, Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on building scalable LLM‑based applications and managing the underlying cloud and GPU infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, train, test, evaluate and deploy AI/ML models and Generative AI applications.
• Design, implement and optimise LLM‑based solutions, including inference mechanisms and performance tuning.
• Build and manage scalable AI infrastructure on GCP, OpenShift, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement MLOps and LLMOps pipelines for automated model lifecycle management.
• Optimize LLM inference performance through distributed computing, benchmarking and autoscaling to meet SLAs/SLOs.
• Manage GPU‑based workloads, distributed processing and autoscaling for AI applications.
• Work with NVIDIA NIM, Hugging Face and NVIDIA SuperPOD environments, including HPC, Slurm and Kubernetes.
• Develop AI application architectures, end‑to‑end workflows and monitoring dashboards.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines using Argo CD, Git and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• More than 5 years of professional experience in Data Science, AI or Machine Learning.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, OpenShift, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML model development, testing, evaluation and deployment.
• Practical knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, Generative AI and LLM architecture.
• Experience with inference scaling, distributed computing, benchmarking and GPU workloads.
• Excellent communication, leadership and project management abilities.
