Audit Manager – Professional Practice Department

About the role

KPMG Middle East is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its Department of Professional Practice (DPP) within Audit Methodology. The role supports audit engagement teams across the region by providing technical guidance, developing resources, delivering training, and ensuring consistent audit quality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical inquiries and consultations from engagement teams.
• Research and analyse complex auditing matters across various industries.
• Develop audit technical guidance, work‑paper templates and tailored training materials.
• Monitor updates to standards, methodology and related resources.
• Support audit quality initiatives and collaborate on strategic regional projects.
• Perform duties required by the System of Quality Management and other assignments from the line manager.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum 6 years of progressive external audit experience with a Big Four or leading international audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of ISA and IFRS.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and within teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation and project‑management capabilities.
