Bakery Commis – Full‑Time Position

About the role

The Bakery Commis supports daily bakery operations, ensuring product quality and timely preparation for internal and external customers. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you will follow recipes, HACCP standards and safety procedures to deliver fresh baked goods.

Key responsibilities

• Verify stock levels at shift start, order supplies from the internal store and assist with receiving goods.
• Prepare bakery items according to recipes, HACCP standards, portion control and presentation guidelines, and dispatch orders to various outlets.
• Participate in opening and closing duties, including cleaning workstations, sharpening knives and maintaining sanitation.
• Prepare and package delivery orders for external customers, ensuring compliance with packaging guidelines.
• Monitor product shelf life, label production/expiry dates, track waste and estimate future supply needs.
• Follow security, fire and safety procedures and report any incidents.
• Maintain product knowledge to answer customer inquiries.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of experience in food‑and‑beverage operations.
• Attention to detail, adaptability and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
