Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) Supervisor

About the role

The Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) Supervisor will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the BBS program for our Al Jubail project. The role focuses on fostering a proactive safety culture by observing work practices, providing feedback and driving measurable safety performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, launch and maintain a BBS program aligned with corporate safety goals and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular behavioral observations, identify unsafe practices and deliver constructive coaching.
• Maintain accurate records of observations, feedback and safety metrics; analyse data to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
• Plan and lead safety campaigns and initiatives that promote safe behaviours across all workforce levels.
• Communicate BBS performance, updates and best‑practice lessons to management and front‑line staff.
• Continuously evaluate the program, incorporating feedback, data insights and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a safety‑related role, preferably in construction or oil & gas.
• Relevant certifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH or CSP are a plus.
