BIM Engineer – Architectural

About the role

The Architectural BIM Engineer will develop, coordinate and manage architectural BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, from design development to digital handover, ensuring compliance with the BIM Execution Plan and project standards. The role reports to the BIM Manager and works closely with multidisciplinary technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain architectural BIM models in Revit Architecture following project standards, naming conventions and shared coordinates.
• Create model‑based views, plans, sections, elevations, schedules and drawing outputs for design coordination, shop drawing production and construction support.
• Ensure model information is accurate, coordinated and structured for quantity take‑off, 4D/5D readiness, as‑built updates and handover.
• Review model content for gaps, duplicated elements, missing parameters and warnings before distribution.
• Support multidisciplinary BIM coordination, clash detection and resolution across architecture, structure, MEP, civil, façade and specialist systems.
• Maintain consistency between BIM models, drawings, specifications and issued design changes.

Required profile

• Engineering‑based BIM professional with experience in architectural BIM production rather than drafting only.
• Ability to work under the guidance of a BIM Manager and collaborate with technical teams.
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans, model development standards and QA/QC procedures.
