BIM Modular Specialist

About the role

The BIM Modular Specialist will lead the creation and management of 3‑D BIM models for both building interiors and exterior site infrastructure on large‑scale projects in Saudi Arabia. Working closely with engineers, architects and clients, you will ensure that all BIM deliverables meet the company’s high standards and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3‑D BIM models for building structures, roads, oily water, storm water, sanitary water, landscaping and hard‑scaping systems.
• Generate construction documents – plans, sections, elevations and detail drawings – directly from the BIM model.
• Implement and maintain BIM standards, including LOD definitions, shared parameters, naming conventions and work‑sharing protocols.
• Annotate and dimension drawings according to company guidelines.
• Review models and drawings for compliance with design specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve BIM‑related issues and ensure seamless integration.

Required profile

• Minimum 14 years of professional experience in BIM for construction or infrastructure projects.
• Relevant university degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead BIM processes on complex projects.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modelling) software.
• Strong knowledge of LOD definitions and shared parameters.
• Experience with work‑sharing and naming conventions.
• Ability to create and manage models for both building and site‑wide systems.
