Business Development Manager - Events

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a leading event contracting company in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Client Servicing Director, you will drive new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships for high‑profile events across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships with prospective partners and international clients.
• Take client briefs, analyse requirements and prepare commercial offers together with senior leadership.
• Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through contract signing and local purchase order receipt.
• Collaborate with internal production and delivery teams to ensure high‑quality, on‑time event execution.
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage accounts and secure payments.
• Promote company services by anticipating and addressing international client objectives.
• Record daily sales revenue and client interactions in the company database.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the events and exhibitions industry.
• Solid background working directly within the Saudi Arabian market.
• Degree from a recognised business school.
• Strong track record of driving revenue growth and securing new business.
• Excellent time‑management, planning and cross‑cultural communication skills.
• Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast‑paced international environment.

Required skills

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
