Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager specialized in freight forwarding to expand our client base and drive revenue growth in the Dammam/Eastern Province market. The role focuses on generating new leads, nurturing relationships, and delivering tailored logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Generate leads and acquire new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market visits.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Promote sea freight, air freight, land transportation, customs clearance, and logistics solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close sales opportunities.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand logistics requirements.
• Coordinate with operations and pricing teams to provide competitive solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and submit regular reports to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding services.
• Proven ability to generate new customers and meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Existing network of customers in Dammam/Eastern Province is an advantage.
• Valid Saudi driving license and Saudi market experience are preferred.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
