About the role
Averda is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the waste management and environmental services market in Saudi Arabia. You will identify new business opportunities, engage with key clients, and deliver tailored solutions that turn waste into value.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to increase market penetration.
- Identify, originate, and capture revenue‑generating opportunities.
- Create sales frameworks and marketing campaigns to boost customer acquisition and retention.
- Target and expand a customer base to grow market share.
- Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives and research potential clients.
- Lead and manage a team while ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (MBA advantageous).
- Minimum 10 years of management‑level experience, including at least 5 years in a customer‑facing role.
- Proven experience in the Saudi market; waste‑management or environmental‑services background is a plus.
- Fluent in English; Arabic or Urdu advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness, financial management knowledge, and analytical skills.
