Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead the growth of Energy Care’s Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) portfolio in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the role focuses on commercial and industrial customers, renewable‑energy projects, EPC partners and strategic pilot opportunities across the Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business‑development plan for BESS and integrated energy solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with C&I customers, renewable‑energy developers, EPCs, consultants, ESCOs and government entities.
• Identify BESS opportunities such as solar integration, peak shaving, backup power, microgrids, power stability and diesel reduction.
• Conduct customer visits and coordinate technical assessments with internal engineering teams.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, commercial offers and customer‑specific business cases.
• Lead opportunities from initial engagement through negotiation to order award.
• Develop pilot projects that can become market references for Energy Care.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast and activity reports.
• Monitor competitors, market developments and partnership opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of business‑development or solution‑sales experience in the energy sector.
• Proven track record in solar, BESS, microgrids or energy‑efficiency solutions.
• Established network within the Saudi C&I, renewable‑energy or EPC market.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with willingness to travel throughout Saudi Arabia.
