Business Technology Developer

About the role

The Business Technology Developer will design, modify and configure banking and business‑technology (BT) applications to meet Riyad Bank’s operational needs. Working closely with business units, you will ensure that solutions are accurate, reliable and aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify and configure banking and BT applications based on business requests.
• Follow departmental policies, processes and standard operating procedures to maintain controlled and consistent work.
• Review business needs, translate them into technical specifications and propose design improvements.
• Participate in testing to verify efficiency and accuracy before production release.
• Monitor application performance, resolve malfunctions reported by the Services Center and maintain system documentation.
• Provide follow‑up support to business areas to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
• Assist in preparing accurate reports in line with Riyad Bank’s standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of relevant experience in banking IT environments.
• Strong understanding of banking BT systems and banking operations.
• Proficiency with programming languages and operating systems such as Java.NET, Visual Basic, UNIX and SQL.
