Business Unit Head - Data Center

About the role

This is a business‑building opportunity to establish and lead the Data Centre business for a respected Saudi engineering and infrastructure group. The role reports to senior leadership and is responsible for shaping strategy, forming key partnerships, and delivering growth across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a 3‑year growth roadmap for the Data Centre business, including market targeting and revenue targets.
• Build relationships with hyperscalers, cloud providers, telecom operators, government entities, consultants and EPC firms.
• Identify and lead major opportunities in hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, modular and AI/HPC Data Centres.
• Lead tenders, commercial negotiations, pricing and value‑engineering activities.
• Oversee the full Data Centre lifecycle from concept and design through commissioning and hand‑over.
• Establish and grow Engineering, Business Development, Commercial, Projects and Operations functions.

Required profile

• 20+ years of relevant industry experience with significant Data Centre or mission‑critical infrastructure exposure.
• 10+ years in senior leadership or management positions, with a proven track record delivering complex Data Centre projects.
• Strong commercial and business‑development capability, including P&L responsibility.
• Deep knowledge of the Saudi Arabia/GCC market and an established industry network.
• Experience building or significantly growing a Data Centre business or regional operation.
