Category Manager – Q‑Commerce (Amazon Now)

About the role

Amazon is expanding its Q‑commerce service, Amazon Now, in Saudi Arabia. As a Category Manager you will own the non‑fresh assortment, shaping selection, pricing, promotions and growth initiatives to meet margin and basket‑penetration targets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Category Leader in launching strategic initiatives and new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Retail PF/Category Leaders to define the optimal selection mix for grocery and non‑grocery portfolios.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve selection, profitability, pricing and availability metrics.
• Own the P&L post‑launch, driving projects with vendors, operations and advertising to hit top‑line and bottom‑line goals.
• Define and continuously refine assortment to maximize space utilization.
• Source deals for Tier 1 & Tier 2 events, ensuring value for Prime customers.
• Partner with retail teams to maintain best‑in‑class content quality and conversion rates.
• Negotiate category marketing funds and ensure inclusion in annual joint business plans.
• Work with the Ads team to secure a fair share of brand advertising investment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in retail, operations, product or program management, or business consulting with a focus on negotiations and results delivery.
• Proven experience in financial analysis and P&L ownership.
