About the role
We are seeking a Chef De Cuisine to lead the kitchen of our new Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. The role combines culinary creativity with strong leadership to deliver high‑quality food and an exceptional guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, overseeing chefs, cooks and support staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, guaranteeing smooth service, food quality and consistency.
- Design, plan and update menus using seasonal ingredients, creating innovative dishes that reflect the restaurant’s concept.
- Hire, train and mentor kitchen staff, conduct performance evaluations and organise schedules.
- Oversee inventory management, control food costs, manage waste and ensure efficient portioning.
- Perform quality checks on preparation, cooking and plating to maintain consistency.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, implementing food safety protocols and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

- Proven experience in leading others, building empowered and diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and guest‑focused mindset.
