Chief Accountant

About the role

The Chief Accountant will support day‑to‑day execution of general‑ledger processes, ensuring accurate accounting, reporting and compliance for the organization. This full‑time position is based in the Central Area District North of Al Masjid Al Nabawi, Madinah and works on‑site with finance teams and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement accounting projects and SOP audits across all property areas.
• Maintain and reconcile credit‑card ledgers, perform contract verification and credit reference checks when required.
• Generate timely financial reports, presentations and analysis to support decision‑making.
• Monitor taxes, ensure accurate accruals, and document profit and loss statements.
• Execute period‑end close activities and uphold strong internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Provide guidance to other units on accounting policies, budgeting procedures and resource utilization.

Required profile

• Four‑year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• No prior work experience required; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard accounting software and tools.
• Ability to use computer systems for data entry, processing and reporting.
