About the role

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will serve as the strategic leader of a semi‑government organization, driving its vision, mission and operational effectiveness. Reporting to the Board, the CEO is accountable for long‑term growth, sustainability and alignment of initiatives with strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership, set clear strategic objectives and ensure they are aligned with the organization’s mission.
• Oversee operational and financial performance, managing multi‑million‑dollar budgets and optimizing resource utilization.
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance capabilities and service delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with governmental bodies and key stakeholders to advocate for the organization’s interests.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote transparency and ethical practices.
• Act as the principal spokesperson, communicating the organization’s direction and impact.
• Lead talent development, recruitment, retention and professional growth of a diverse workforce.
• Monitor key performance indicators, report to the Board and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of executive leadership experience in a complex, high‑stakes public or semi‑government environment.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, execution and influencing systemic organizational change.
• Strong financial management experience overseeing multi‑million‑dollar budgets.
• Extensive stakeholder engagement and communication expertise.
• Deep understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks governing semi‑government entities.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage contracts and agreements.
