Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial function of a fast‑growing retail company. The position is based in Saudi Arabia and offers the chance to shape financial strategy, drive profitability, and work closely with the CEO and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall financial strategy, planning and analysis to support business growth.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to design and implement commercial strategies.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring to ensure profitability.
• Manage relationships with investors, banks and other stakeholders, ensuring strong financial governance.
• Implement data‑driven decision‑making processes to improve cost efficiency and optimise margins.
• Lead finance, accounting and procurement teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and industry standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director or senior commercial finance leader, preferably in retail.
• Strong strategic and operational finance expertise with a track record of driving profitability.
• Experience managing complex financial models, budgets and forecasts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA or CFA are highly desirable.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency with financial reporting tools.
