Cloud Architect/Engineer – Technology Consulting (Riyadh)

About the role

EY is seeking experienced Cloud Architect/Engineer professionals to join its Technology Consulting practice in Riyadh. You will work on cloud transformation engagements, helping clients design, build, and operate secure and scalable cloud platforms across Azure and AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support architectural design sessions, defining target‑state cloud platforms using Azure or AWS adoption frameworks and well‑architected principles.
• Implement Azure landing zones and AWS account onboarding using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep/ARM, CloudFormation) and establish networking, identity, governance, and observability baselines.
• Deploy and configure Kubernetes clusters (AKS/EKS), container registries, Docker, Helm, and ensure operational readiness.
• Produce runbooks, monitoring dashboards, and other handover artefacts while troubleshooting platform issues and contributing reusable blueprints and IaC modules.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or platform delivery.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure and/or AWS, including landing zones, governance, networking, identity, security, and observability.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical decisions to stakeholders.
