Cloud Expert – OpenShift Architecture Lead

About the role

We are seeking a senior Cloud Expert to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise‑grade Red Hat OpenShift platforms across multiple data centers in Riyadh. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and compliant container solutions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and technology partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Red Hat OpenShift architecture ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Define infrastructure topology, network segmentation, and storage integration aligned with enterprise standards.
• Oversee end‑to‑end OpenShift deployment, including LDAP/AD integration, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring.
• Implement governance, RBAC, OAuth, and security compliance (CIS, NCA benchmarks).
• Collaborate with network, storage, and DevOps teams to optimize performance and operational efficiency.
• Conduct architecture reviews, proof‑of‑concepts, and work with vendors for solution validation.
• Provide documentation, technical training, and knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
• Support automation using Ansible, Helm, and GitOps practices to streamline cluster management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes architecture and administration.
• Proven expertise in container networking, CNI plugins, and multi‑cluster connectivity.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks (Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
