Commercial Lawyer – Saudi Arabia (Secondments)

About the role

RAYNE is expanding its Saudi Arabia team and seeks commercially‑minded lawyers to join as consultants on a secondment basis. You will work directly within client organisations, acting as an extension of their in‑house legal departments while enjoying flexible, relationship‑driven arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, framework, SaaS, licensing, distribution and supply contracts.
• Provide corporate and governance advice on restructurings, joint ventures and day‑to‑day in‑house matters.
• Support Vision 2030‑aligned projects across energy, infrastructure, real estate and financial services.
• Advise on Saudi regulatory and compliance requirements (MISA, CMA, SAMA, etc.).
• Identify legal risks early and deliver pragmatic, commercially‑focused solutions.
• Operate confidently in fast‑paced, in‑house environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years post‑qualification experience (flexible based on overall expertise).
• Strong familiarity with Saudi commercial law, regulatory frameworks and contracting landscape.
• Background that includes both private practice and in‑house experience.
• Adaptable, pragmatic and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Consultant mindset with a genuine interest in partnering with business teams.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
