Senior Contract Specialist (12‑Month Extendable)

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Contract Specialist to lead the end‑to‑end management of commercial contracts across the organization. The role combines legal expertise, risk assessment, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure all agreements meet regulatory and business standards.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards, company policies, and risk frameworks.
• Interpret contract clauses and provide legal guidance to business units throughout the contract lifecycle (drafting → review → execution → compliance).
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks and liabilities, supporting dispute resolution and contract‑related claims.
• Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards, working closely with internal legal teams and external counsel.
• Partner with finance, procurement, and commercial teams to provide legal advice on contract structures, commercial terms, and risk‑conscious negotiations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of experience in contract management with a strong legal focus.
• Legal qualification (LLB or equivalent) and proven expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal risk assessment.
• Experience in complex, multi‑stakeholder organizations and deep understanding of Middle East regulations and commercial law.
• Fluent Arabic speaker (mandatory) with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as a senior individual contributor.
