Commercial Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial and contractual functions for major infrastructure and construction projects in Riyadh. The role involves overseeing all commercial aspects, ensuring contractual compliance, and protecting the company’s financial interests throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all commercial and contractual activities across assigned projects.
• Review, negotiate, and finalize contract terms with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, project requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, financial reporting, and commercial performance monitoring.
• Prepare, review, and manage claims, variations, extension of time submissions, and change orders.
• Identify commercial and contractual risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Provide commercial guidance and contractual support to project teams and senior management.
• Administer FIDIC and other standard forms of construction contracts.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, commercial correspondence, payments, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, procurement, and project management teams to resolve commercial and contractual issues.
• Support dispute resolution processes and commercial negotiations with stakeholders.
• Monitor payment applications, invoicing processes, and cash flow performance throughout project lifecycles.
• Prepare detailed commercial reports and contractual assessments for executive management.

Required profile

• Professional certifications such as MRICS, PMP, or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience working on large‑scale infrastructure, roads, or mixed‑use developments.
• Strong understanding of project commercial governance and financial controls.
• Experience leading commercial teams within fast‑paced project environments.
