Commercial Manager

About the role

JASARA Program Management Company is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead commercial activities across multiple construction and engineering projects. You will be responsible for driving financial performance, overseeing procurement, and ensuring contractual compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all commercial management processes, directing procurement, cost control and contract negotiations.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project performance against financial targets and provide regular reporting to senior management.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks associated with project delivery.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships to support successful outcomes.
• Ensure all commercial activities comply with organisational policies and industry standards.
• Guide and mentor junior commercial staff, fostering a high‑performance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of commercial management experience in construction or engineering.
• Proven track record managing complex contracts and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of contract law and regulations.
• Ability to analyse financial data and make informed decisions.
• Experience presenting commercial or financial reports to senior leadership.
• Relevant certifications such as MRICS, CIPS or PMP are a plus.
