Companion & Support Helper (Full‑time, Jeddah)

About the role

NESNED is seeking a full‑time Helper to provide non‑medical companionship and practical assistance to clients in Jeddah. The role involves being present for clients during hospital visits, daily activities, and special events, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and supported.

Key responsibilities

• Accompany clients to hospitals, appointments, or other destinations.
• Offer social interaction, emotional support, and respectful conversation.
• Assist older adults with daily tasks and provide presence during family events.
• Maintain punctuality, reliability, and clear communication with clients and their families.
• Record visits and activities accurately through the NESNED platform.
• Follow NESNED guidelines on professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and active‑listening abilities.
• Demonstrated reliability, time‑management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations discreetly.
• Cultural awareness and respect for diverse backgrounds in Saudi society.
• Basic problem‑solving skills and sound judgment.
• Fluency in Arabic; basic English is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Jeddah, including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Previous experience in caregiving, customer service, social support, or volunteering is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in social work, psychology, or healthcare support is a plus.
• Ability to pass NESNED’s screening and background checks.
