Compliance Officer – Insurance Sector

About the role

The Compliance Officer will support the Compliance Manager in ensuring that the company adheres to all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards within the insurance sector. This role involves monitoring systems, preparing reports, and coordinating with various departments to maintain a robust compliance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor updates to internal systems, instructions, and circulars related to the insurance sector.
• Organize and maintain compliance files, records, and regulatory forms.
• Assist in preparing periodic compliance reports and follow up on observations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with departments to provide necessary documents and meet regulatory requirements.
• Track customer complaints, suspicious cases, and support anti‑fraud and anti‑money‑laundering initiatives.
• Support the implementation of compliance awareness and training programs.
• Ensure timely submission of reports and monitor deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information and documents.
• Perform other compliance‑related tasks as directed by the Compliance Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in compliance, insurance, or regulatory affairs, preferably within the insurance sector.
• Good knowledge of regulatory systems, instructions, governance, and internal control.
• Fluency in Arabic and solid English communication skills.
• Certification in Insurance Fundamentals is a plus.
