Computer Vision Engineer – Real-time LiDAR Perception

About the role

We are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to help build LiDAR-based perception systems that turn real-world 3D sensing into production-ready products. In this hands-on position you will move vision and sensing pipelines from prototype to field-deployed solutions, collaborating closely with hardware and firmware teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and deploy computer-vision pipelines for real-time detection, tracking or 3D reconstruction.
• Work with camera and depth sensor data (RGB, depth, LiDAR) including calibration, synchronization and data-quality assurance.
• Optimize models and pipelines for edge deployment, balancing latency, memory and compute constraints.
• Integrate vision algorithms with hardware/firmware teams to ensure reliable operation in the field.
• Build and maintain inference services using containerised APIs and CI/CD best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack, from sensor quirks to model performance.
• Document system architecture and processes for cross-functional teams.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in computer vision or applied machine-learning engineering.
• Strong problem-solving instincts for real-world failures, not just code-level bugs.
• Proven ability to take prototypes to production in a Linux environment.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• OpenCV and standard computer-vision/ML libraries.
• Linux system administration.
• Docker, containerised APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying models to cloud or edge platforms.
