Construction Engineer – Expo 2030 Riyadh

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Construction Engineer to support the Expo 2030 Riyadh infrastructure program. The role involves planning, packaging, material management and ensuring that construction activities meet safety, quality and schedule requirements for the six‑square‑kilometre master‑plan.

Key responsibilities

• Assist construction supervision in developing construction methods and procedures.
• Coordinate engineering and construction issues with senior engineers and the construction manager.
• Identify and report quality, safety and schedule concerns to the responsible manager.
• Monitor progress of early works, utilities, streets and parks, and verify quantities and material deliveries.
• Conduct technical inspections and testing to confirm compliance with project specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural or related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience on large‑scale infrastructure or mixed‑use development projects.
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards and quality control processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, international team.
• Fluent English communication skills.
