Construction Manager

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to provide zone‑level oversight within a PMO environment. You will ensure effective integration of contractors and PMCMs across multiple concurrent work fronts, driving compliance, quality, and safety on large‑scale civil infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control day‑to‑day construction performance across assigned zones, aligning with program, quality, and safety requirements.
• Act as the primary interface between contractors, PMCMs, and the PMO to coordinate works and resolve issues.
• Lead site‑based integration of civils, infrastructure, and landscaping, managing complex interfaces.
• Review contractor methods, phasing plans, and logistics strategies for feasibility.
• Track progress, delays, productivity, and escalate risks or under‑performance.
• Manage non‑conformances, RFIs, and site issues to ensure design intent compliance.
• Support implementation of construction reporting systems, PMIS dashboards, and data capture.
• Coordinate access, logistics, and site planning in congested, high‑activity zones.
• Ensure contractor compliance with QA/QC, HSE, and environmental requirements.
• Provide input to look‑ahead planning, sequencing, and recovery plans.
• Assist in contractor performance evaluations and reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 20+ years of construction management experience.
• Extensive experience on major urban development, infrastructure, public realm, or landscape‑led projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of roads, utilities, drainage, earthworks, and infrastructure systems.
• Proven experience working within a PMO environment.
